The end of an epic 3 week journey. The caravan is a 45ft 5th wheel trailer, made in the US, being pulled by a 1984 Land Rover Defender. The caravan was arrested and put in custody by the Police... it is a long story and may one day end up on youtube... It was damaged when we got it back... but this video is about the last 100ft of the journey. Positioning the caravan took nearly all day and there was at least 9 of us. The Land Rover is a very special one, built by Land Rover and registered to them for the early part of its life. The chassis is specially strengthened for the full size 5th wheel, it has vacuum brakes for the trailer and is having air brakes fitted. Soon to be featured in Land Rover World magazine. I thought it would be nice to show the Land Rover doing the kind of work it was built for, shame we needed a tractor to give us a nudge ;)

  • semi trailer unit'd do the job with ease.

  • @GravityMallet Your right he needs a cummins

  • Who picked that location, it looks like a Bogg and man the inside of that trailer will be trashed from the mudd that will be tracked inside, I reccommend a lot of straw be placed down or build a porch from plywood, oh yeah does the sun ever shine there????

  • @SpecialAndNotDumb English accent LOL I'm from England and have that language

  • This circus really makes you proud to be an Englishman. Oh wait, NO it doesn't. Was the caravan "arrested" (surely you mean impounded) before or after you decided to tow it with a vehicle that is clearly not large enough for the job. Safety first boys... at least Jordan didn't get hurt during this idiotic display.

  • @waterboost are we aloud the story now???

  • @waterboost American government wouldn't be happy with that kind of system

  • Everyone that says use a Ford is ignorant.

  • why the fuck would he use a ford? they are bollocks, all he needed to do is be less mechanicly freindly with a landy and he would have made it with no problems.

  • Obvious the Land Rover did its job or it & the 5th wheel would not have made. Ass for Fords the only decent oil burner was the 7.3. I should know I have had 2 of their junk most recent smaller displacement ones that end up with stretched head bolts. GM's &. the Cummins are much more reliable. Other countries have as good or better ones that are made about or to military spec's. My 2009 Ford F-550 will be my last after spending $3,600 on injectors & head bolts with only 120,000 miles. GM or Cum
