  • well mark , its easy to say that when your not an ALIEN ( i think thats what were called, seriously) if you were in my position you would know how i feel, when your not being targeted like you are life is a bit easier , i understand......:)......im not wanted here so let me start packing my bags,,,heheheheh

  • @emailrick If someone is not legally present in the country, they should leave.

  • What if i am 24 years old, have never even tasted alcohol, has never commited a crime, i have valid registration, and insurance yet i cant have a california license because i am a illegal alien, and i cant receive a social security . at least just so i can get a license. Where does that put me?? oh yeah i did get arrested one time because i got pulled over for a brake light, then i didnt have a license then i was arrested?? Where does that put me?? Do i have any right to be upset, i think so.

  • I hate modesto with a fucking passion, I cant wait until I'm outta this tweaker shithole

  • I have heard that before. I have always heard that they go after immigrants and poor people without licenses. I have heard they are racist too. Only bad thing is the one person I know who got a DUI at a checkpoint was a white guy who was born in the US. So much for those theories. Plus, why not check other safety things when you are stopped? I don't want someone without a license or insurance in a stolen car to kill me because the cops let him go being that he wasn't drunk. That's stupid.

  • Except you are wrong. But you are used to that I am sure:

    Michigan Dept. of State Police v. Sitz, 496 U.S. 444 (1990).

The Supreme Court held that these checkpoints met the 4th Amendment standard of "reasonable search and seizure."

The constitution defines the Supreme Court as the final arbiter of constitutionality, so the claims "they are unconstitutional" and "violates the 4th amendment" are just dead wrong.

Thank your local police for the checkpoints! Taking the DUIs off the road!

  • damn pick-up truck drivers lol

  • every time im in modesto a fucking pick up truck has rear ended me

  • I hate Modesto!

  • "Yeah, we're just going to stop everyone and snoop around their vehicle until we can determine if they are passive/compliant or if they oppose unjustified stops/searches..."
