This video is an original composition and performance (Steven Maupin) using the Rainboard. The Rainboard is a DIY dynamic isomorphic keyboard. It can interface the Musix iOS app in order to change layouts and adjust settings. As well, it can be played on its own after a layout is set. this is an amazing concept. with the toning the way it is, you can literally just play your heart out and it will sound amazing, beautiful, harmonious, and be expressing you in the most directly musically translatable way possible... well this does happen with other instruments, but it takes great time and practice. however, this still is an amazing bridge between humanity and music and opens a great realm of possibility. thank you :)

The buttons are not currently velocity sensitive.

The audio is being created by NLogSynth Pro on the iPad. The Rainboard interfaces with Musix on the iPad, and Musix passes along midi signals to NLogSynth (or any other midi synth such as samplewiz or arctic keys).
