SRI SRI RAVI SHANKAR is a humanitarian leader, spiritual teacher and ambassador of peace. His vision of a stress-free, violence-free society has united millions of people the world over through service projects and the courses of The Art of Living.
In 1982, Sri Sri entered a 10 day period of silence in Shimoga located in the Indian state of Karnataka. Sudarshan Kriya, a powerful breathing technique, was born. With time, the Sudarshan Kriya became the core of the Art of Living courses.

ART OF LIVING
Sri Sri founded The Art of Living as an international, non-profit, educational and humanitarian organization. Its educational and self-development programs offer powerful tools to eliminate stress and foster a sense of well-being. Appealing not only to a specific population, these practices have proven effective globally at all levels of society.

WHAT IS YOGA
The secret to health and happiness lies deep within every human. Yoga is the science of discovering one's own self - the very source of pure consciousness, peace and bliss. Through the discipline of Yoga we become more aware of ourselves by doing simple postures, breathing techniques, meditation, and relaxation to rejuvenate the body and quite the mind. It is in this manner that we cultivate harmony in ourselves.

WHAT IS MEDITATION
Settling the surface mind is meditation. Living in the present is meditation. Relaxing deeply is meditation. When you are really happy, reposing in love, you are meditating. Meditation is that space when the thoughts have subsided, and the mind is in complete rest.

WHAT IS SUDHARSHAN KRIYA
Sudarshan Kriya incorporates specific natural rhythms of the breath which harmonize the body, mind and emotions. This unique breathing technique eliminates stress, fatigue and negative emotions such as anger, frustration and depression, leaving you calm yet energized, focused & yet relaxed.
Millions around the world have done this unique practice and have reported better quality of life.

  • @MsPalak69 Well, they look better laughing than they would complaining :-)

  • @cosmic248

Do we learn from our experiences only? Don't we learn from books, from scientists, from parents, teachers, great achievers in their own fields? It matters when that book(ideas of one or more persons), or conversation actually affects your way of thinking, your outlook etc. That is what we call learning.

So why not a Guru? Guru means teacher, we have all met teachers, good or bad. So if you learn from a good teacher( Sadguru ), it's not a shortcut, it IS learning.

  • The audience is plain silly and dumb... ready to laugh at any word that comes out of the 'Guruji's' mouth.

  • @ayyamperumalr well I'm not interested in a game of semantics as you are. I can read between the lines. This is not my guru, not my teacher, not anything, but why should I question every word like you?? I think you just like to be the one who is right. You are trying to correct people here but nobody wants you to. Why don't you let people make up their own minds, and mind your own business!

  • @pritipatel0721 like the blind love you have on guriji & accepted his answer, simillarly have a blind love on the one whom you love and trust unconditionally, he will become good for you. Think good and create good in him. don't be blind. You should know the disciples of swami nitiyananda who accepted him blindly. Lots to quote. A Iceberg put in the water will hide most of its presence, similarly are human, gurus are no exception it is fate.

  • @ayyamperumalr Read what I have written.I have not said one word about 'believing'.I have said 'learning'.I don't believe,I learn.

Belief is always 'blind'.So I find it funny that you say 'don't blindly believe'.What should I believe in then?

Don't know what sense your dying in suffering and sleep means!

  • @ShaolinHero1 woman should think long before decision but once taken should not change. If u think ure mind is wrong then intrapersonal conflict arise ie you are stranger to ure mind. You know smoking is injurious to health but you smoke because u are stranger to your mind. Don't change partner as u change your dress... not good.

  • @lokenath123 Believe in guru but don't blindly believe in today's guru. We should understand that he is also a human, may be with some diff. Today's guru die only after they suffer from death bed but there are lots of people who go to bed comfortably but don't wake next morning, they are gifted.

  • @ShaolinHero1 the result of both is same. Don't be blind, finding diff. meaning for the words to justify. Find someone means you need another, not the one u love. get another one also means the same. If there is diff. explain........

  • Not favour, silly, unsocial, she loves & feels he s not good 4 her, then make gud 'cause u like him.We eat icecream in winter & drink hot water, to make good.U can make good but u cannot love whom u don't like. She says she hardly knew him, this is a true love (unconditional) which make u feel that u miss, when u condition love u say it's not good 4 u,don't change the person as said by guru but change the condition to feel good.If you follow guru u will feel 4 life time. Woman r creators of mankind.

  • i dont get it? ... huh oh well ... on to another
