@Doleafol That would be an in-ear monitor. Essentially it allows the artist (Michael) to hear the other band members and maybe audience - depending on the live engineer's mix and the artist's preference. This is used in place of foldback speakers on the stage; which can cause feedback under certain circumstances. Most live shows are quiet onstage so they can be microphoned for to output through the PA. This means that onstage, Michael may not hear Peter's guitar amp over the drums, for example.

interesting how in some scenes in this video Michael's t-shirt is orange and in other scenes in this video Michael's t-shirt is olive green. Great song and performance(s) nonetheless.
