  • Yes, regrets that I don't have the full Party Fears II performance on tape from Glenn's performance - I haven't seen anyone else post recordings of it either. Glad I could get a kind chat with him, Martyn Ware and other Billy fans. Thanks for the appreciation of the night's coverage and clearly Billy had a big impact on many people's lives and his one-of-a-kind spirit remains alive as warm flames in the hearts of his fans.

  • I was at this show. Party Fears Two was one of the most genuinely moving moments I've ever experienced at a gig. There weren't many dry eyes left in the place by the end of it - simply stunning. A great shame it wasn't captured in it's entirity, but many thanks for sharing. I agree with the comment below - they should record and release it. It be a wonderful and fitting tribute to Billy.

  • Billy MacKenzie was one of those extremely rare individuals able to create tiny moments in records that made the listener instantly aware that life/existence was much much bigger than they intially thought it was. This is genius, and this is what a proper artists role is: to open the doors to the higher realms and bring in the bounty of the gods. Everything else is just padding really.

  • Thanks for posting this. Very moving. And interesting to see an Associates song done by one of their contemporaries and another of my favourites.

  • I thank you for this vid - this tribute - this wonderful version of a true classic song. It's humbling, and brings a huge lump to my throat.... now I'm crying. RIP, Billy, I miss you.

  • Thank you Glenn, this a hymn you made for Billy. I'm sure he heard it.
