On Sept.9, 2001, Ahmed Shah Massoud was killed by, Al-queda operatives posing as an journalist and a camera man wanting to interview him. This is a tribute to the great Northern Alliance leader: The Lion Of Panjsher.

Killed mysteriously just two days before the Al Qaeda attacks on the World Trade Center, Massood has been called the 'Afghan Che Guevara' for his vision of his country's future and his will and desire to fulfill that vision. Massouds policy was always to have good and friendly relations with everyone. Massoud is called the Hero of South-Asia could not accept barbarians ever in Afghanistan.
