@MRP90NINJAPANTS To add, my favorite NHL team is the Capitals because I grew up idolizing Kolzig, who my parents watched as fans when he played for TC. I like picking on the Americans but for me, it's a love/hate relationship between the Chiefs and Ams. Kolzig was great, Carey is a beast, and I think Tokarski is a hell of a lot better than Pickard. Our team is young and will become good...you people do need a new arena though, I am not lying when I say that.

@MRP90NINJAPANTS Oh...I forgot the Americans won the WHL championship last season. Who is having the better AHL career so far? Not Pickard but Tokarski. Now don't judge me...I just like picking on the Ams and their arena but I have family in the TC and ironically, I have met Olie the goalie numerous times and he is my favorite NHL player and my favorite player now is Carey Price...don't view my words as hate..I just like ticking those poor Ams fans off...respect the Chiefs and silencethecowbells

@shutoutzilla37 What does an arena have to do with class??? And CBC is a community college not a University so its meant to be small. And have the chiefs had any success since their stacked team in 08???? NOPE.

I like Spokane I think they're a great rival to Tri Cities but if any of you know anything about the Americans its that during the 08 season how many NHL draft picks did Spoke have??? 12, how many did the Ams have??? 2, so, Spokane was stacked like Calagary last year and Spokane is paying for it now as they have lost all theyre good players except johnson, Cowen, and Koper ( I may be leaving someone out =).

@shutoutzilla37 Do you know how stupid you sound right now OMG Jim hiller came in when Don left to the AHL then I guess Don didnt like it up there so he came back Hiller had a great season with the Ams and had a 5 year contract so when Spokane fired hardy they hired Nauchbar you idiot.

@ecocem Quit trying to justify your Americans. They do not win when it counts and individual awards don't matter, it's about championships. The Ams got their asses kicked in the WHL final. We have two WHL championships and two Memorial Cups. Tokarski had a hell of a game in the WJC final and Pickard had a horrible AHL season while Tik dominated. TC is so great that Don Nauchbaur came to Spokane because he said we have better fans, better Arena, better organization, and a tradition FULL OF CLASS.

@ecocem It isn't TOK it is TIK so get your facts straight. Tokarski had the better stats throughout his WHL career. He made 51 saves in the Memorial Cup final to win the MVP and the Cup for our Chiefs. Typical Americans fan, celebrate and boast meaningless individual awards when you have three banners? We have SO many they are hanging under the Arena next to the locker room. We have TWO Memorial Cups and we have hosted one. TC will never host one because that city and arena is a dump. Go Chiefs.

-As I recall, at the 2008-09 WJCs, Chet played in two games and let in one goal. Tokarski on the other hand, struggled the entire time. Canada won the gold in spite of him, not thanks to him.
-Just for the record, the 2008 Western Conference finals went to SEVEN GAMES, and was pretty evenly fought until period 3 of game 7. Chiefs may have won it, but it just as soon have gone the other way. If it had, the AMs would have been boasting the cup.
Are all Cheifs fans on Youtube this classless?

-A goalie's stats have as much to do with the defensive support he gets as it does with how talented the goalie himself is. The Chiefs were/are a more defensive team, The Ams aren't. Apparently the WHL, which chose Pickard over Tok two years in a row, agrees with me.
-Do you actually think a guy's rookie year in the pros means anything? Plenty of great goalies {including Kolzig.} Struggled at the beginning of their careers.
