@eocarcharia the show probably didn't do well because no one knew it existed. I only heard about it through a passing comment made in a classic car magazine which had a feature on Richard Hammond and a car of his under restoration...
How many people making comments on this clip actually watched any of the series when it was originally shown? And have any episodes been repeated on the BBC, or via iPlayer? It's not like Top Gear isn't perpetually on our screens on one channel or another....

@000steelandstone000 In all fairness to the BBC, it doesn't exactly help when one of the main presenters goes and head butts Yorkshire at 300mph at just about the time that they'd have been considering making series two. That sort of thing will rather tend to throw a spanner in the works.
The show didn't do well, and needed an overhaul. There were some essential flaws in the format. Whether a second series would have materialised had Hammond not had his accident, we may never know.

they'd rather have useless pointless shit like Nevermind The Buzzcocks that caters to British people with no brains than have good, well made programs like this.
