Ramayan is a tale for every generation. It is multi-layered, multi-faceted, multi-dimensional... and this new daily version of the timeless classic has been interpreted to cater to the taste of a shining, modern India. Television is all about great stories well told, and for us, Ramayan is India's greatest story ever and we hope to re-tell it in a compelling, entertaining manner.

  • in which epi kaushalya maa asked for granchildren.... ??

  • @radha25 I would interpret - "everything was conveyed through speech" in a different way. A yogi can transplant entire image of past or future directly into any one's mind. If a yogi can see the past and future at any time, that means everything is already there. All you have to do is to acquire the skill to see them. Paper is not required. Yoga power is far superior to all kinds of power. Learning process is completely different. Valmiki gave divine power to Luv and Kush without any lecture.

  • @IdentifiablePerson

on top of your point, the brain power was immense back then. everything was conveyed through speech. But modern day paper is much different from the paper used back then [as when Valmiki composed the Ramayan]

  • @radha25 Using yoga you can do anything. You can go to any place at mind speed. Hanuman is an example. Using Yoga you can materialize any thing. Ramyan shows a city was built for the king and his army. You can live as long as you want by yoga power. Ramayan says Ravan did meditation for 1000 years.

You do not need capitalism to do all the junk things that has side effects. We built automobiles but it kills 40,000 people every year in USA. American medicine kills 100,000 people per year in USA.

  • @boranika1 The ability to create paper does not mean an advanced society. Ancient Indian rishis were able to see any thing at any time using their power of yoga. They could see past, present, and future. There was no need for papers to document them. Paper is low tech compared to yoga.

Now money controls everything. Everything present civilization has done is to destroy our environment of nature, mind, health, philosophy. Only goal is to exploit and make more money.

  • @Sikhindu

i also agree with the ancient civilization being far more advanced then today because 1) this is all described in the Vedas. Many of the health related, math, science related topics are all in the vedas. The Ayurveda is a classic example as is the Vaastu. In fact this also supports the Vedic statement of there being 4 yugas based on intelligence alone.

and as far as the other inventions goes, maybe, just maybe the ancient culture had various methods of making paper not yet discovered

  • @Sikhindu

i must say that the points you gave are very important. It's funny how Western society does think of us as the most intelligent and the most advanced civilization, but the fact that they always retort to Darwin's theory of Evolution shows how foolish they are in thinking that humans came 1) from monkeys and 2) they "adapted and evolved throughout the ages"

current archeologists are finding the remains of Dwarka and it is exactly as it is described in the Bhagavatam

  • @boranika1

Ok, you just explained what paper is, and the earliest account of paper being made. Maybe the point I was making is lost. I don't know. But it's ok.

  • @boranika1

Some will claim that those advanced civilizations were aliens, whatever label someone chooses to give them, we can't explain what they did by our current standards. Some oral traditions span back 400,000 years. Not arbitrary years, but 400,000 of our current years. They speak of things that took place in the past ... anyway, per Western science, you are definitely right. However, the evidence suggests otherwise.
