Watch enhanced version @ http://www.videocrux.com/video/20056/King-Tut-family-was-not-effeminate-Zahi-... Tutankhamun's family was not effeminate despite the appearance of his golden bust, Egypt's antiquities chief Zahi Hawass said Wednesday as he unveiled new evidence about the life and times of the famed boy king. The results of an extensive study also showed King Tut died of malaria after a fall, and walked with a cane.
@MegaVladimir1988 : I intuitively wondered if Zahi allowed the release of the info backchannel (as I'm sure the testers and NatGeo signed confidentiality agreements in order to have access -- he probably secretly signed waivers). Zahi has made so many comments against the Afrocentric claims on Egyptian pharoanic dynasties that it almost seems an obsession with him. This would be a perfect way for him to kill Afrocentric claims without taking an official position.

@MegaVladimir1988 : No. Zahi won't release any information indicating race or genetic connection other than as it regards to Tut's immediate family members for identification to the 18th Dynasty. The official line is "test results are a matter of national security." Nevertheless, the identifying markers were shown on the NatGeo documentary. They were on the computer screens of the scientists explaining the connections between the mummies. And, a genetic-research lab uploaded the results.
