  • When first time I heard this song, I wanted to be this Good Girl... Tom could break my heart :D.

  • Guys, arguing if pettey wrote this song or lynn, I am a petty historian. Petty wrote this song actually by just having the inital lick in mind. He decided to the play the song just for fun at a Dinner when the President of Warner Brothers was having dinner with him. I belive lynn was also at this dinner, where the intial lyrics began to develop. lynn helped produce the song, and petty got the lyrics from a higher power.

  • @cali4niapoprock But if you watched running down a dream, Lynne gives most of the credits to Petty, but maybe that was because it was Pettys movie.

  • I need to learn this song

  • "In 1989, Lynne co-produced Full Moon Fever by Tom Petty, which included the hit singles "Free Fallin'", "I Won't Back Down", and "Runnin' Down a Dream", all co-written by Lynne" Wikipedia

  • @cali4niapoprock no not at all

  • Song (mostly) written by Jeff Lynne (Electric Light Orchestra)

  • if you look up cool in a dictionary it says see tom petty

  • It makes me sad that this was probably the best concert that these people ever went to and that it was one that I never went to.
