@j123456789k1 It does slow the Mac system a little while it's running, but it's negligable, as long as you only give it a single core of the CPU, and don't give it more than 1GB of RAM. Also, it looks like it allows you to install Kaspersky Anti-Virus for free, but I'm not sure about that. And you'd only need it on the windows side, as your Mac would remain completely secure without an Anti-Virus, as files are sandboxed.

Is Windows running in Parallels able to "see" and use the firewire port for capturing video, in Sony Vegas for example?
