They reproduce by broad casting sperm and Eggs, the Fertilized eggs become a free swimming Planulae,
The Planulae settle to the bottom and grow to into structures similar to corals in that they are a colonial structure of many Polyp animals.
During a certain time of the year when the Iodine and temperature levels are appropriate "spring" The polyps pulse and break off into
ephyrae "baby jellyfishes" which go on to grow into adults.

Depending on the class of jellyfish, some can reproduce asexually by budding, and some can reproduce sexually with eggs and sperm. Some are even capable of both forms of reproduction.
