Because the North kept bawwing about slavery being wrong, but then constantly bitching about the South's almost-shortage of cotton productivity, which they needed slaves to keep up.

@luckystar123451 If you knew anything about history you would know what the emancipation proclamation was. Where Lincoln declared he would abolish slavery completely. You think he would get involved in a war just to send african americans back to africa? You have no idea what your talking about little kid. In fact its been proven that soldiers on both the union and confederacy believed that the war was because of slavery. And do you have the faintest idea how fucking expensive that would be??
