Wat Phanan Choeng, Ayutthaya

Wat Phanan Choeng is a lively temple compound at the junction of the Pasak and Chao Phraya River in Ayutthaya. While the temple structures themselves are a bit unremarkable by Ayutthaya standards, the main attraction is the huge gilded Buddha Image Phra Phanan Choeng. Religious ceremonies take place here regularly. You can witness the changing of the robes of the Buddha.
