One of the most memorable Twilight Zone episodes ever, "The Eye of the Beholder" (originally broadcast as "A Private World of Darkness" on Nov. 11, 1960, starring Donna Douglas) is edited to 3 minutes and set to Joe Cocker's "You Are So Beautiful to Me". This hauntingly beautiful adaptation will make you question what is beauty.

this is a classic episode beyond doubt ........in our present year 2011 beauty takes precedence over all .......................if this was not so there would not be a billiion dollar makeup industry or looks industry every year

@rexterrocks To behold means to look or see something. Therefore the beholder is anyone and everyone. The point this episode (and the saying) is trying to make is that each of us sees beauty based our own preferences and perceptions.
