Last night I was watching episode 5 (Ballad of Fallen Angels) of Cowboy Bebop so after it ended, i immediately got on youtube to search for the tutorial, and only you came up because the rest was just people playing it. I appreciate you breaking it down because i also don't know how to read or write music lol. You must be a good tutor because I don't own a piano and no one has ever taught me. I just got into it a few months ago so I'm teaching myself(:

@CrashAriMP5N2O I'm also in the process of finding the right chords for the second melody (A, A, A#, F#, A ...) instead of mirroring the melody. You were able to find the last part, the F major chord (full). Just need to feel in the gaps for the rest of them.

Alternatively for the intro with the first melody (F, C, A, G, ...) you can use the F major chord and the first inversion of the C dominant 7th. [F,A,C] and [E,A#,C] C dominant 7th is actually [C,E,G,A#] with [E,G,A#,C] as its first inversion but I took out the G to make it a triad and make it easy for the finger position. This is what you hear in the background vocals that sing "Merry, merry. Ever green".

Hey again. Just came by to say that i know how to read music because im taking piano and guitar and those help me a lot. My piano recital's coming up and I get to choose any song to play so here I am. I know everything about this song but Im having a hard time playing the melody with the accompaniment at the same time. I need help.....

The easiest way I know of to learn a song for both hands is to learn one hand at a time, per section of the song. Usually, I'll learn the accompaniment first, as that's typically a more simple pattern than the melody. Once I've committed the accompaniment to muscle memory, I will start working in the leading melody measure by measure until they are both committed to muscle memory. Eventually, it's the muscle memory and not your conscious mind that plays 2 different patterns (at least for me)
