i think in 100 years there will be little debate that weed is one the safest drugs known to man period (significantly safer than acetaminophen which is sold over the counter) and that abuse and addiction concerns apply no more to weed than to video games, porn, and a plethora of other perfectly legal things. all in all it seems to ignorance that perpetuates the illegal state of the drug and possibly some malicious intent by someone with power (who may have died years ago)
