@bigbzon Watch wildtv...they stalk moose with a bow and they have to stay on the ground and within 60-80 yards MAX more likely 20-40. So you're right, but hunters get up in their face quite often. Whoever said anything about hunting being safe? :-p

@laughthis138 Moose are colour blind. So are deer. Also for your education about safe hunting, - it helps to wear bright colored article of clothing - bandana or a hat. Before people knew enough about animal vision there were quite a few hunting accidents every open season when an unfortunate neighbour ended up very much dead mistaken for a deer, moose or wild hog.
Not a hunter, just camping? Then I suggest you take heed and do the same.
