The is a South Malaita Pan Pipe Group from a Village on the southern Island of Malaita Province, Solomon Islands.
I videoed it at my school i was teaching at in 1996-97? During a ceremony at School. Rokera Provincial Secondary School. P.S.S
Sorry for the poor quality i have had the cassette in tropical climate for years and they have not survived well.

I love panpipe music 4ever coz its natural,no computerised sound,just pure natural magical sweet sound.

I often say Solomon Islanders are the best musicians on the planet.When you watch them play these bamboo bands and dance,their sound,coordination,timing and rythm is truly amazing,even kids play these traditional instruments and their timing and coordination plus the sound is truly amazingggg too.I'd love to go to the Solomons one day..God Bless you all.
