Man! The dedicated physx card makes no difference at all. I've also tried multiple testing using my old 8800GTS as dedicated physx paired with my GTX280 and nothing! Not a single frame increase. It just ends up creating a LOT more heat in your case.

There's some games, such as Batman Arkham Asylum and Mirror's Edge, which benefit directly from a PhysX Card. Benchmarking wise, it's detrimental.
