A mock trailer for the novel "Devil in the White City." It was produced to encourage students to read it while attending GEAR UP Chicago's BLAST 2006 program.

omg i freaking love this book. i would probably throw up if they made it into a movie i would be SO excited. they should cast james marsden as HH Holmes.

Bravo! You've done a very good job with your trailer. I just finished the book on which you based your offering and would love to see it made into a film.

Unfortunately, it would have to center on Holmes in order to keep the audience, but CGI could reproduce the spendor of the White City and would alone be worth admission.

@estesoyojajaja Jack the Ripper was the first well-known British serial killer, while H. H. Holmes was the first well-known American serial killer. They are both firsts, which is why they are related, I suppose.
