8 RGB LEDs I ordered from SparkFun controlled using PWM giving 8 brightness levels per colour.

Although the camera doesn't capture it well, the colours of these LEDs are really beautiful.

When directly feeding from 5V use 150, 560 and 680 Ohm resistors for R, G and B.

In this setup I used 150, 220 and 470 Ohm, because of the PWM red tended to dominate a little.
