It cost $2000 a month to care for that tank, saw it on animal planet. Talk about insane fish tanks, this guy put some cash into his hobby.

What is with the Pacu with the golden coloration on the upper half of his body. Is it a rare genetic variation like in lobsters, or something like that? Or is it a different species all together? Or is it just the lighting? Any help and information would be nice.

Please note that is NOT our tank as mentioned in the information provided. This is a fellow fish keeper's who we thanked for inviting us over to share this. We do not want to take credit for someone else's amazing work and dedication. :) John's feeding routine is insane. I can't imagine what it costs to feed these guys!
