I know it was just put in for a gag and an opportunity for using a bit of a wonderful song again, but this really does show how without sympathetic male votes, women wouldn't have the rights they do today.
Minorities must have support from majorities in order for any change to occur.

Love the fact that Mrs Banks just comes home, and isnt bothered about 50+ chimney sweeps in her house, or the fact that the entire household is dancing with them
