Dawson Creek, BC lost another business today when the Wildcat Video store caught fire around 9am. Fire started in the Southwest corner and is rumored to have started when a furnace caught fire. The intense heat and smoke could be felt for blocks. Many downtown businesses suffered severe smoke damage. Area businesses and residents of the famous Alaska Hotel were evacuated. As of 12:40pm the build was still burning but under control.
