Chloe/Clark {You're in my Veins}

The friendship shared between Chloe and Clark is at the heart of the television series Smallville, and how it develops and grows is definitely a huge part of each season - Season Nine being one of their darkest times together. I wanted to create this video to spotlight their friendship at this point in time, whilst the memories of what they use to be are sewn into the fabric of their past. This song really expands upon this, saying that they are both in each other's veins, and that even through everything, they will always be together, and will always stand by each other. They truly are best friends, and they will always be in each other's lives, forever.

I have mixed feelings on the storyline for season nine. One one hand, its a great story. There are several elements that continue to test these two and the fact they come out of it all stronger than ever really says something about them. But, what I didn't like about it was how drawn out it was - there were so many apologies, and so many wrongdoings to each other (personally, more from Clark to Chloe than the other way around). Ultimately, they did come out of this with a really strong relationship (see Season Ten), and I'm really thankful for that.

And can you guys believe that this is the ONLY season of Smallville where Chloe and Clark don't hug?! That's another terrible thing, but it made their reunion hug in "Collateral" that much more epic!

I want to dedicate this to all the Chlark and Chloe fans who sat through Season Nine and had their hopes slowly torn away, but stood by the show, the friendship, and the characters until they finally worked things out and became better for it. It was a tough season to watch week-to-week, especially when it looked like the producers were, at one point, trying to tear these two apart forever. So this goes out to all of you, and here's for an EPIC series finale, which lets hope has some great Chloe and Clark moments.

I LOOOVE this Jack!! The entire dynamic of the Chloe/Clark friendship is definitely ONE TO REMEMBER! They are truly best friends and I loove the way this video really shows that! The clips/voiceovers you added to this video were sooo emotionally gripping and just all around EPIC! Really put a tragic/happy vibe on the video that I couldn't help but feel! TEARS TEARS EVERYWHERE!!!!! I LOVED IT!!!!

They had such a heartbreaking and tragic relationship in S9 and it was one of the hardest things to watch but you highlighted the pain of their separation perfectly! I think you showed a better interpretation of their true feelings during their rift better than the writers did! They both hurt each other but I think what hurt them the most was not having each other! You did a great job at showing that exactly! Great job!

wht i hated the most was how the writers were in deniel of the very own thing they build for years..if they had to do it y built? they cud've made smthing beautiful outa all the hard work they put in to that relationship instead they denied. i DON'T mean they shoud've made chloe n clark end up together cs that will be against the myths but maaan they cud've worked smthing out. i mean these are the SV writers who used to amaze me once wd their skills n imagination..what a waste

This was such an unique look at this song, but it definitely fits these two SO perfectly. I love that you focused on their difficulty in s9 and then used the "you're in my veins" refrain to flash back to past seasons. And all the voiceovers you chose....gah! heartbreaking and beautiful! I loved the Pandora parallel at 1:35-4:05 and then the effect at 1:46-1:49 with Clark walking away fast and then slow was timed SOOOOO perfectly. It gave me chills. This whole thing was just amazing!

WOW Jack! This video is amazing. Chlark is such a beautiful relationship with so much history. I love how you showed both sides of it. They hurt each other. It's a shame the show felt they had to ruin it. I know they forgave each other, but something is missing.
