The "Rare as Hen's Teeth" tweed, doing its best to explode for your benefit. Recorded with a Rick Kelly Bowery Pine Telecaster to an Apogee Duet into the Macbook to Garageband, with a Shure SM57. The Tele has a 1963 Gibson Firebird neck pickup and a noiseless Dimarzio Area T in the bridge. First played in the middle position, then neck only. If you'd like to hear it played clean, check out my original song "Nearfield" on Youtube.
@UKToneKing As a big clean platform with a lot of headroom that also takes pedals well, the Pro Reverb is my favorite. Something about that big iron. But the sweet cleans of the vibrochamp are great at low levels, and surprisingly also takes pedals well. The Harvard always has the tweed thing going on, so it's never quite "clean" and it doesn't take pedals cleanly, but with the Harvard you don't really need pedals-it's a very straightforward Tweed Machine. Mic crapping out here doesn't help.

What is the best amp U have for clean tones ? or the best amp you have had ? as you have had a sf vibrochamp, pro reverb, and this tweed, so which has the best clean ? was thinking of getting a silverface deluxe reverb or princeton reverb on top of my vibrochamp, think the princeton reverb will be the best bet for home use, & the PR has the best trem, not much difference in price, the DR is brighter which is what I like, but the PR is smaller and easier to get nice tones outta it at home
