@bknibbe00 Thanks man :), Im from europe and custom exhausts here are really expensive, tbh everything is expensive here hah! :) Yesterday was checking local Touareg's and a 2004 is about 25k USD here, thats why I gotta get one from US.
I hope thats the right muffler, well anyway thanks again and good luck :)

@Razor4ever - should be the 11226.
-
@bknibbe00 could you link me the magnaflow mufflers that you used? Because there are various types and Im a bit lost on their site. Thanks :) Oh and I will say it again <3 the your car and the mighty sexy exhaust, nothing beats a good v8 :)
-
@Razor4ever - I don't have any pics. Just imagine the suitcase muffler removed and two magnaflow cans in it's place. Some V8s had the air suspension as it was an option. Our's does :D
-
@bknibbe00 Thanks, do you have any pictures done underneath the car? I would love to see how the exhaust was done :).
Btw do you know if the 4.2 v8 had pneumatic suspension?
-
@Razor4ever - Custom dual Magnaflow muffler and 2ndary cat/resonator delete.
-
What brand is the exhaust? or is it just catless?
<3 these cars.

cool
Hey, back again. Im almost finalizing my deal on the treg v8, but still hesitating about one thing. The reliability of them. When I went on edmunds.com the consumer reviews were horrible. Is it really that bad with them??

@Razor4ever - Some people have had really good luck. Other people haven't. We've been pretty fortunate so far with only having to replace the climate control and the rear driveshaft. The driveshaft is due to a a bad carrier bearing that VW refuses to acknowledge. Ensure you do your timing belt service when it's due and be prepared to shell out lots of money for that job. The later year Touareg's are supposedly much better about the reliability.
