Hakeem Olajuwon's HOF induction speech

Hakeem Olajuwon was inducted into the basketball hall of fame on September 5th, 2008.

Also inducted were: Adrian Dantley, Patrick Ewing, Pat Riley, Bill Davidson, Dick Vitale, and Cathy Rush.

As usual, Hakeem was humble and gracious. He even seemed uncomfortable with so much of the limelight being on him, which is his style.

Hakeem Olajuwon was one of the greatest centers to ever play the game. His drive and desire to be the best along with his natural ability helped him to dominate on both ends of the court. In every category Olajuwon's career playoff stats were better (against the best competition) than his already amazing career regular season stats.
