The pagerank of the page that has your link is what matters, this is not a PR8 link.

As others have said, it is not correct to say this gives you a PR8 link. Mefax is correct in stating that anyone who dredges up old threads with a high PR on Joomla will quickly be thrown off - I know from painful experience. best way is to only make sensible answers to threads and then hope that thread gets a high PR in the future.

You're not getting a page rank 8 link from this. Joomla's homepage is pagerank 8, which you're not getting your link to appear on.

You cannot get links iin such a way, try putting your website url in profile page followed by , yes i.e. comma after your site url.

lets make it clear joomla has pr 8 just like, adobe pr9, apple pr9 but when you make a comment or profile, the page where your link will stay has a pagerank of 0 or maybe 1 or 2 if its a blog or forums.These sites or forums will not give you a miserable comments on threads that has pr of 5 or six and has over one year old post, moderaptor is always playing in banning accounts.
