Harlech Castle was built by King Edward 1 between 1283 and 1290. At one time the sea came right up to the cliffs and ships could bring in supplies at any time. The castle was originally painted brilliant white, to make it even more impressive.

Harlech Castle was bult by an Englishman but the Welsh won it back.

Wonderful video on Harlech Castle. I have never been there and I'm not sure where it is. Please, don't be offended, but some information, either in text or audio, would have made it much more interesting. How old is the castle? Under who's reign was it constructed? But, you get my point, and as I said, don't be offended. Just wanted to offer some constructive criticism and I hope you tkae in that spirit.

You're totally on that it seemed to be hewn from the rock it's on, AMAZING architecture. I also love how you show the # of portcullises & such by walking through the gatehouse. Nice vid m8 !!
