Dead Space: No Weapon Glitch

It might not be a glitch as I thought in first place, but I highly doubt, that the Devs thought, that anyone who plays this game would run around without a weapon equiped later on. You can't beat the game this way :/ You can't jump around in Zero-G enviroments without a weapon. If it would be possible to beat the crap out of enemies without a gun, only with punching them and so on, then I would give it a try :P
