Pish is way too harsh. The Getaway was ambitious. Minimilist, make me forget I'm playing a game. Consequences for driving like an arse around London. Proper realism. Too bad it was beaten to the punch and outshone by GTA 3.

I actually remember liking this game 10 something years ago, the indicators drove me up the wall though :P

@ScottishDuck17 I think I convinced myself I liked it at the time. Playing it now, it's still impressive how much of London they got in, but it's not much fun to play.

@BitSocket Same, I pretty much told myself it was good at the time, likewise with the second game, I was a little disappointed when I heard they cancelled the third in the series though
