The obvious answer to your question is that there are people who are open minded and people who are close minded

there are prideful people and there are humble ones

Loads of poor arguments here. One glaring contradiction by the speaker is his insistence that 'M-Theory' or 'Multiverse Theory' must have explanations behind them (ad infinitum) but then this doesn't apply to the god concept ('who designed the designer' etc.) which he tries to justify with his poor crashed-spacecraft metaphor (it's poor because if everything's designed then why does the spacecraft stand out as the designed object among the rocks and terrain around it?).

the truth that mostly all human beings believed in was design

the truth that you believe in is chance and this chance is at odds with reality. It is near impossible yet you stick with this definition..

do you intend to look at islam in the way most people do not or do you intend to bash it ignorantly without any idea of what it is you are really bashing

do you take your time to look up opposing worldviews and weigh it on a scale with your own world view

or do you adamantly stick to your definition of truth and throw out all other opposing definitions

Not so.

You are open-minded if you are willing to admit that your worldview might be wrong, and willing to let the evidence and logic decide.

You are closed-minded if you pick one view and then stick with it, no matter what you see, hear, or read after that.

If I were married to atheism, I'd be closed-minded, yet, I'm not. I'm open to evidence for a different worldview.

If someone will not consider any possibility but Islam, then is he open-minded or closed-minded?

Doesn't it strike you as mysterious that "God's true message" has not yet convinced even half of humanity, even more than a millenium later?

If it's so true, then why do people who disagree with it outnumber believers at a ratio of 2:1?

yet only one of the names on the list has 1/3 or 1/4 of the world's population not only believing in him but changing their character and life style for his sake alone
