Here's my exploitation of the infamous SMB minus world bug done by going down a warp pipe before the map advances to the end point where the game recognizes that mario is entering a warp zone.

In this case of this glitch, The map not advancing to the end results in software variables not being set for the warp pipes which causes the game to run amok when mario goes down the warp pipe.

And for what ever reason, it's still playable.

Enjoy - Done using a real NES

  • So it DOES exist. Considering what a video game fanatic I was, I'm surprised I made it this far in life without seeing it. And on Youtube, no less. My inner child is sucking his teeth even as I write this.

  • @HelicalColossus Yes, I've done it on GBA's installment of Classic NES Series

  • what about the other pipes

  • I would say a never-ending level that only ends in a game over when you lose all your lives or you have to reset the game qualifies as messing up the whole game.

  • It really IS a glitch.

  • cause it looks like a glitch. So is it really a glitch or are they secret hidden worlds?
