Right-click the wirless icon and left-click enable. If there is no icon than at that moment you do not have wireless capabilities on your computer.

i have a question. i have a kinda old pc (about 10 years old) which runs with windows 2000. we have wireless network, but i'm not sure if this old computer can receive it. how do i check this on a windows 2000? help could be really handy!!! thanx!

@Yannis390 The 2 main ways to get wireless are a USB or PCI wireless adaptor. After Windows detects the new adaptor, run the CD that should come with it to install the drivers and reboot. You should then find that wireless has been enabled when you right-click on the wireless icon.
