Every year, over 10,000 children in the U.S. are diagnosed with some form of pediatric cancer. Thousands of other children are diagnosed with other life changing or life threatening illnesses each year as well. Not all survive, but all do desire to feel joy in their time of need. You can make a difference. Please donate to one or more of the life changing institutions listed below. You can donate as much or as little as you want or can afford. Please read each donation page linked below for details. Thank you.

  • Well done - well said.

There are similar charities in Australia that I try and give to each year.

  • @richo61 I have been exposed to these things before. They just never hit me like this before. I was glad to give. It is nice to see that others like you do the same regardless of geographical differences or political borders. I hope you keep on...keeping on Rich. The world needs more people like you. Take care -Salad

  • I drove to St. Jude with a Nintendo system and some games all cleaned and Lysoled and wrapped etc and I wanted to give it to one of the kids personally and after 2 hrs of just getting INTO the place the desk lady told me I couldn't give it personally because the kids were too sick, yet, there's kids running around in the room. She was adamant and I refused to just leave it there and as I turned to leave she asked me if I'd like to see their Islamic center.

  • @TruthSurge "Islamic Center"!! WTF? What does that have to do with anything?? I cannot even imagine the look on your face when she said that to you after all of that!

Even though you were unable to give your gifts. At least your heart was in the right place and you did more than most people would ever spend time doing. You my friend have heart and compassion. I am glad to know you. Take care, J

  • Lovely video, FHS. I am sure it will move many to help the cause.

  • @AuntieDiluvian I hope you are right. I wish I could have given more.

  • I love you man, you care.

  • It makes me frickin' SICK. To think that there is a God up there doing absolutely NOTHING makes it worse than there not being a God at all. There is no way in hell that I would want to spend eternity with such a heartless being. And God thinks WE'RE sinners??

  • I lost my daughter only 1 day old. And it was a terrible and devastating experience. I truly cannot imagine how painful it would be to lose a child after 3 years, especially a suffering child. I can't bear all the suffering of children all over the world, every day, and that wealthy christians can so easily rationalize it.

  • It's an unfortunate reality that children with brand new bodies experience such devastating diseases like ALL, cystic fibrosis, Downs, etc. Medical professionals that choose to specialize in pediatric oncology must be very strong people to encounter so many sick children, watching them die as a never ending flow of victims arrive. It might put us at ease to believe they've e gone to a better place, but what's the point of all the slow, needless suffering of the innocent? A benevolent God indeed.

  • Good job.

    Thanks for allowing me input.

  • @FishHeadSalad Thank you for yout time & kind words. Your efforts are making a difference & at the end of the day, what else really matters in this world?

  • great video. never have i been much of an emotional person. but seeing innocent children suffer with cancer has always instantly sent tears to my eyes and pain to my heart. i definitely plan on donating to the make a wish foundation this year. seeing their faces light up during these fulfilled wishes is worth every penny that has ever been donated.

  • @FishHeadSalad Yeah, I mean, once I GOT to the place it was like 2 hrs just finding the right entrance and getting in and then to be rejected by the desk lady using an argument that failed miserably due to the kids running around in front of me, THEN to ask me if I'd like to see the Islamic center as if THAT was the most important thing. In my mind, I told her "fuck you".

I tried. thanks for the efforts, too. I do agree that children should never suffer. not in my world.
