True commentary folks, unfortunately this is the truth, most of these types of people wait to return the pup until they have reinforced bad behaviors in the dog after a few weeks/months, then decide to return the puppy after they have ruined the dog, and we have to deal with it and find them a new BETTER REAL home. People will say all these wonderful things & promise the world to get the pup, then give 50 reasons why they need to return it. Some days, rescuers don't like people.

I had one person do this to me.The reason, the son was in school. It would be a problem with him studying.He was a only child and his mother was single.Can you guess why this was a problem.I found that great puppy a better home.

some people are not dog people I met one.They get upset when dog out all day then comes in and go in living room.Donot like hair.Ect.

i worked at the local humane society for a loooooong time and this happened much more often than i'd like to admit...people can be really ridiculous.

i am curious to know how you see the whole act of breeding and then sterilising the pups.i know we have to sterilise the animals who already exist but do you think it is moral to choose a dog to get another dog pregnant when we want because we want to(it's not at all like natural selection in the wild)and then sterilise the pups and sell them becuase people want pets? not sure if you get what i mean?

@myowgirl all domestic animals must be looked after by humans,after all, they are domesticated and it was humans who made them dependant on us so it is our responsibility to look after them and give them excellent lives.i think it best to stop breeding them though.it is humans that control the breeding and decide when a dog will become pregnant and with whom etc etc etc.i really wish we would protect the wild animals and the environment,they are being killed off in a world wide massacre.
