AK47 chick

avery shoots an AK47 variant. the rifle that is being shot here is a Norinco MAK-90. it was imported from China in the 1990s. It is basically a semi-automatic version of the Type 56 Assault Rifle, which is a copy of the Russian AK-47. Since 1956, there have been an estimated 15 million rifles built and used in many wars and conflicts. The MAK-90 came about due to Assault Weapon Bans that were enacted in the 1990s. The pistol grip was replace with a name thumbhole stock and the bayonet lug was removed. Other than a name change, it is simply a semi-automatic Type 56 (AK-47).
