Dr. Flowers talks about why he will be part of a sustained occupation of Freedom Plaza on October 6th, 2011. She, and THOUSANDS OF OTHERS, have signed the following pledge:

"I pledge that if any U.S. troops, contractors, or mercenaries remain in Afghanistan on Thursday, October 6, 2011, as that occupation goes into its 11th year, I will commit to being in Freedom Plaza in Washington, D.C., with others on that day or the days immediately following, for as long as I can, with the intention of making it our Tahrir Square, Cairo, our Madison, Wisconsin, where we will NONVIOLENTLY resist the corporate machine by occupying Freedom Plaza to demand that America's resources be invested in human needs and environmental protection instead of war and exploitation. We can do this together. We will be the beginning."

  • While I understand the frustrations of the U.S. political system at large and the private ownership of business, the focus for you should be on universal health care on a state-wide level. The Federal Government has no place in wedging itself into privately owned businesses. It's unconstitutional, and that's part of the reason why Obamacare is unpopular in America. That's my opinion. =\

  • This 'doctor' is a quack.

  • what kind of insurance did these people have that you speak of, Govt medicaid? if you don't like the system that is in America there are plenty of socialized countries with socialized medical insurance, why not just move, why does the majority of people have to change just because you think socialized medicine is the right way to go,,over 70% of Americans want obamacare done away with

  • @danco35 I never said everyone had slaves, stop with the false-equivalency. Read it again "Largest slave owning state in the world", nothing about the individual. Logical fallacies get you nowhere in life.

  • @CraigMetalHead

Just as I said, you don't have a clue. Not everyone had slaves you idiot. Is that some kind of bullshit fairy-tale they teach all Brits in school? Many Americans had their own small farms, as did my family, and if they had slaves, they were treated as hired hands. They were well fed, paid, clothed and given their own houses to live in. You watch too many leftist anti-Amercan movies and you live on ignorance. Our laws and way of life has made the world, and you, jealous.

  • @danco35 "an fkn thing" - If thats the way you talk then no, I probably wont understand a word you are talking about. Haha, too easy but you had it coming.

  • @danco35 HAHAHA! Hard work? The largest slave owning state in the world? Hard work?! HAHAHAHAHA! Fuck off, you follow the moral compass of a bunch of slave owners.

Try freaking progressing as a society instead of clinging onto what someone said 250 years ago, you should focus on doing what is rightand good not trying to interpret some old rich, white slave owners words and thinking they are infallible.

  • @CraigMetalHead

And if you really are British, you don't know an fkn thing I am talking about.

  • @CraigMetalHead - I have no hypocricy, I am what I am and I'm not denying it. I believe in life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. I support the US Constitution and the intent of the founding fathers. You know, the old guys that kicked your asses out of my country. Along with my ancestors that moved from your oppressive monarchy in the 1600's and came here to do the hard work of civilizing this great nation and promoting a true free state.

I'm an American and damned proud of it.

  • @danco35 You didnt "diss" anything... I listed government services and said someone is going to think at least one of those is run well. I never said I thought they were all run well as I would not know, given that I am British and have no personal experience with those services.

And note you didnt debate the point I made after the word "profit"? Everything you just said about me having my eyes closed applies to you. Bloody hypocrites, so easy to pick apart.
