great a drawing robot.time to draw the mona lisa a second time.oh no!who need this shit???
-
@mathieupoussin - Well, yes, I'm sure Java is better than any kind of BASIC, but a generic low-level language such as C or C++ would be even better.
-
@cyborgtroy perhaps because lots of people know Java and don't want to learn an ultra-specific weird low level language that are sometime the only option on some ships ? (ex: CCBasic on the CONRAD micro-controllers is a pure shit..)
-
you need to understand that when it's mission critical, you need low tier programming language not high. Java RTS is basically has adjusted JVM so it can work on a specific project... Who gives shit if java cost something ? No one. Since Oracle bought Sun, they gone super jew with these piece of shit things. Java is not for Mission Critical systems, you don't control a jet with it when microseconds matter.
-
I think the important question is, "What's so great about doing anything in Java?"
And the answer is, "Who knows..."
