2001 Chevy Impala, BCM Failure, Bad PASSLOCK?

I'm thinking about getting a 2002 impala, I just wanna get somebody else's opinion if I should or not cuz I've been seeing problems with them not starting and passlock stuff or bcm problems idk what that is so if anybody can get back to me asap.

chevy impala for 2001 sucks trust me my 52 year old mother gets stranded at work at 10 oclock at night on a 20 degree day

@abiez tried taking off battery terminal and reconnecting it, didnt work, no matter how long i left it off

That's Chevy electricals for you! My dad has an '04 Silverado 2500HD, guage cluster and AC unit were replaced all within 1 week of eachother. My mom has an '05 TrailBlazer. That has also had the AC unit replaced, as well as one of the computers under the back seat. The headlights flicker between high, low, and off, even in manual selection mode. We have had the computer replaced to fix it, nothing. Christmas eve we had to take the Corolla because the headlights were flickering way too bad to see

I had the same issue and it turned out to be a 2 amp fuse. That was just my case >> *2005 Malibu Maxx

wouldbt this be considered unsafe and illegal? how do you know how much gas you got or how fast you are going?

Nopes. Sold the car. However I found out that if you couldn't start the car, you just had to take off and then reconnect the battery terminal and VOILA!
