Nice to find this song on you tube. Terry's records are hard to find. We mourn his passing.

I knew Terry in the mid-1960's at Columbia Studios when he produced a record I made there. Terry did the mixing and you can find the final product (two sided 45 rpm) here on YouTube under The Flameouts. The history of our little rock band from the USAF Academy is there under 'more info'.

I worked for Terry as a part time studio musician for a while. Candace Bergen would drop by. Fine folks to me.

I knew Terry and he was such a nice man . i know he loved Doris Very much , and he was her rock , she is singing background on this song. What a pair ! he was so handsome and she is so beautiful. Miss you Terry !!

It makes me so sad... Terry is dead and Doris is alone ... beautiful song, I have it by Cher but Terry's version is great! I wish he and his mother had worked more together. I am very touched by the song and the video!

Like many people, I sometimes jump to conclusions. When I heard of Terry Melcher, I figured he was just a young man that was making the most of his mother's fame. Was I wrong! This duet with his mother if nothing short of fantastic. What a talented singer.

What a great song! Terry had a son so thankfully Doris has her grandson since Terry's passing. I understand they are close as welI. I have seen a picture of the three of them.Doris & Terry obviously had wonderful relationship. I just heard Doris talking on a radio show for her 2011 birthday (88) and she sounds amazing! Her voice sounds like she is in her 30's and she has such a quick wit and memorable laugh. Bless them both:)
