Behind The Machine: The Machine Parts Testing Grounds!

A videorecorded visit at the Testing Ground, the place where I test out techniques and effects before implementing them into actual levels.

This time it's about the Machine Parts themselves. Before, only Urgon's Part could be seen. Now, we can actually show new stuff, in the form of a functionning prototype of Taklit's Part, and a full-fledged working Azerim's Part.

Taklit's Part now acts as a short-range teleportation "key", and while it can't provide lara with Invisibility like its Jones counterpart, it now allows her to freeze time itself for 15 seconds. In return, using the time freeze function needs the part to cool down for 80 seconds after use. The teleportation ability however is unlimited.

As for Azerim's Part, for the neophytes, it allows Lara/Indy to levitate in a localized shaft, up/down at will, rotate around, and jump out of the beam. such shafts are usually noticed thanks to a glowing blue crystal hanging from the top.

I also would like to apologize for the poor video quality. I made this using Windows Movie Maker due to lack of appropriate tools, I usually use my main PC for that, though right now I'm using a laptop to work on the game.

@vinnyvis I believe I will release all this stuff once I have completed the remake. I also have started to work on tutorials to build these things; like PRJ files and a step-by-step tutorial :).
