Creating a new genre of music(fusion) is selling out? He is one of the most influential musicians in history. He took jazz to another level and challenge other jazz musicians to think outside the box. This period of music he became real artsy with his music.

Miles did sell out. But not to the idea of stuffy, elitist ideas as to who is his & what he should be. He sold out to being a greater ARTIST & MUSICIAN.
