If I saw it at my friendly recyle-it store I would buy it. New Order's Blue Monday would look cool on it. Too bad you haven't recorded the sound.

An emulator would be exceptionally difficult to implement considering that it is an analog computer.

I've got one of these... The only way I was able to capture both image & sound was to:
Line audio to video-recorder audio-in
Recorder audio line-out to AVM
AVM output to recorder coax ANT-in
Set recorder to simultaneous input
Record
If recorder isn't simultaneous-input capable, use a RF-demodulator to change video signal to line-level composite.
It's just that easy!
