@fadiliscious Thank you, I think it is funny how other people wanna tell you what someone else told them. But long as they are kept up, I'm good, but I couldn't have unkept hair if I wanted too, my inner self just wont allow me too... hahaha how are you doing? how is Fort Hood treating you?

@afrofreetv You can not have unkept mattedlocs in the military, that's a lot of people's confusion. You can have locs in the army as long as you keep them neat and off your shoulder
-
wow they are prohibited...unless they changed it far as i know you can not sport the locs

I didnt think that you could be in the military and have traditional locks. My friend is in the ARMY and she says there is a NO LOC policy. But if you can have fun with it.
I've never heard of anyone starting locs with kinky twists, so I have questions. Are you worried about how your hair will look different from the kinky twist part? Are you going to cut the twists as your hair grows. What made u decide to do the twists instead of loc extensions? I'm curious to see how this will work since you'll be leaving in the twists for so long. So I will sub so I can find out. :)
Also congrats on your weight loss.

@afronique Hey thanks on the weightloss comment. But I decided to start the loc with the kinky twist because I didn't want to go through the funny stages if I would have done comb coils and I don't really like the loc extentions that i have seen her on youtube. Plus having them with the kinky twist will keep people in the Military from telling me what I can and cant do, since they will look like twist for a long while. I do plan to cut them as they grow but for now I am just letting them do.
