Kids Picking Handcuffs at SummerCon

It's always great to see kids at hacker cons, learning new and fun things about technology that will serve to spark their education as they grow. We get our share of young ones in the Lockpick Village (like Jenna Lynn at DEFCON who was bumping at age 11 and Ella at LayerOne who triumphed in Gringo Warrior at age 12) and SummerCon was no exception.

These two brothers had a blast, showing their proud mother how much they could learn. The younger of the two actually approached us first... then grabbed his brother to show him the handcuffs. Perhaps the best quote in a while i heard was him explaining how they work... "So you stick this long thin piece in the left side... wait, which one is 'left' again?"

That's right... he was still mastering his left vs. right, but was able to understand how mechanical locks work and pick them open. Kickass.
